Acrostic poem

Friends

Friendly people who care for me
Really fun times
 Interesting times with your friend
Every person needs a friend
Never-ending friends
Devastating breakups
Superfriends to the rescue

The Sun Poem

The sun is a light bulb helping me see.
It is a candle lighting up the sky.

The sun is a heatwave melting God's people
it is a fireball making me blind.

The sun is hot lava burning the world.
It is a disco ball shimmering everywhere.

Room 5 assembly

On Friday room 5 had their assembly. We did a song and a play. Our play was about stereotypes the message in it was that some times we make assumptions. The song that we did was individuality.

The Cook Island language week

This week is Cook Island language week.  Allessandra taught Room 5 the Sign of Cross in the Cook Island language and she also taught our class a song called My God Loves Me. In the Cook Island's they speak Cook Island Maori and English. The currency they use is the Cook Island dollar and the New Zealand dollar.
We also spent time reading some Cook Island Myths.

Circle Iced

On Wednesday Room 5 did a science experiment. We had circle ice which was created with balloons. Then we put the dye on the ice then we put salt on it. We had to write down what we noticed and some questions we had. In the end, we threw the ice up.

Egg Sitting

Last week we did egg sitting. The whole point of this was to look after and keep the egg safe. Mrs Drummond wanted us to realise how hard keeping after a child is. My egg's name was Archie. My egg stayed alive for the whole week!

Acrostic Poem

In Room 5 we did acrostic poems about mythical creatures. Here is mine.
